Humanitarianism asserts that every individual is inherently deserving of respect and dignity, which drives humanitarians to take decisive action for the betterment of humanity as a whole. The core principles of humanitarian action serve two critical functions: they maintain a relentless focus on alleviating suffering without any hidden agendas, and they affirm the belief that every person has equal dignity simply by being human. Key tenets, such as Humanity and impartiality, mandate that assistance is provided without discrimination among those in need.

This powerful ideology compels individuals to save lives and eliminate suffering while steadfastly promoting human dignity, especially in the face of crises—whether they arise from conflict or natural disasters—thus enabling communities to rise above poverty. The human toll of conflict is staggering, inflicting substantial physical and psychological wounds that demand extensive healing. Initiatives like Clinics for Humanity are essential, emphasizing the urgent need for a global network dedicated to delivering traditional healthcare and fostering peace. These efforts aim to cultivate shared values, attitudes, and community bonds that transcend the divisions wrought by conflict, poverty, and disasters.

In collaboration with the Canadian College of Humanitarian Medicine, WONM-Clinics for Humanity™ has established safe and effective protocols for traditional medical treatments focusing on addiction, behavioral health, self-care, education, and disaster relief.

Healthcare professionals, including Doctors and Practitioners of Humanitarian Services (DHS™ and PHS™), assertively administer these vital programs wherever they are needed.

DOCTOR OF HUMANITARIAN SERVICES- DHS(TM) PRACTITIONER OF HUMANITARIAN SERVICES-PHS(TM)

The DHS™ & PHS™ designations are exclusively reserved for practitioners who integrate natural medicine practices into their care and who are committed to executing exemplary charitable acts or during emergencies. To achieve this esteemed designation, practitioners must provide solid evidence of their medical training, licenses, and competence in traditional and natural medicine, as well as complete the WONM-Humanitarian outreach protocol certificate program. These doctors and practitioners deliver critical services to underserved communities, including counseling, stress management, community development, clean water initiatives, nutritional education, and comprehensive training in conflict resolution and civility.
