Hon. Dr. Sheila McKenzie
Dear Friends,
It is with profound heartfelt pleasure that I post this message as a confirmation of what I proposed to accomplish as the co founder and ruling president in chief of the World Organization of Natural Medicine. Before I give my proposal I think it is necessary to give brief background information on my involvement with humanitarian and natural medicine health- care.
My first experience in healthcare was as a student of a rural dental healthcare program under the auspices of the Ministry of Health School dental training program in Jamaica.
During my senior year of my training I was given the opportunity to observe dentists’ and physicians’ humanitarian medicine works on the SS Her Majesty’s Hope Medical ship for one month. That left an indelible impression on my consciousness and a desire to be involved in humanitarian medicine to help suffering mankind.
After graduation from that program, I immigrated to Canada and worked in the dental profession as a dental hygienist for many years. I became exhausted and ill after many years of working long hours, and as a result I was introduced to Natural Medicine health care for the restoration of my health. I knew from that point that I was on the right path, but I struggled for many years before I could see clear path to fulfill my yearning desire to help mankind with humanitarian medicine.
I went back to school and studied homeopathic medicine as well as other natural medicine modalities and medical acupuncture. I am a licensed doctor of homeopathy, medical acupuncturist, and licensed dental hygienist in Canada.
In 2003, I was introduced to and appointed Public Health Diplomat under the International Parliament for Safety and Peace. Realizing that much work is to be done in the area of Humanitarian Medicine, I, co- founded the World Organization of Natural Medicine Practitioners(WONMP), now known as the World Organization of Natural Medicine(WONM), with Hon. Dr Charles McWilliams in October 2003 to fulfill my duties under IPSP. As President in Chief, I shall coordinate and develop strategies with our team to develop effective strategies for advancing, and propagating traditional and natural medicine health care geared towards the poor and to increase the number of health care professionals and associates who are willing to work together as a unify group.
This task is of monumental proportion, to this end, I am therefore extending a special invitation depending on partnership and support from trusted colleagues, and friends to remove mountains, one rock at time.
Sincerely,
Hon. Dr Sheila McKenzie
President in chief, Deputy Minister for Politics of Protection of Family and International Community under the International Parliament for Safety and Peace (IPSP) and Dame of Merit Sovereign Orthodox Order of Knights Hospitaller (OSJ).
