Dame Dr. Sheila McKenzie,
RDH, PhD,IMD, COM, DHS
Since her entry in the healthcare field as a dental professional she has taken every effort to advance her profession into integrative medicine. In addition to her extensive academic credentials, in dental health care, homeopathy, orthomolecular nutrition, orofacial Myofunctional therapy and integrative medicine. She has held positions, including clinician, educator lecturer, researcher and humanitarian. She served as a Public Health Diplomat under the International Parliament for Safety Peace (2003-2013).
Dr. McKenzie has been a champion for the preservation of traditional and integrative medicine healthcare and humanitarian medicine. She is a global ambassador for healthcare reform for the National Coalition Party of Canada (NCPC). Dr. McKenzie is Dame Commander for Canada under the Sovereign Orthodox Order of Knights Hospitallers. She has been mentoring healthcare professionals in integrative medicine modalities since 1998. She is the head of the research supervisory team at the University of Humanitarian Medicine and is a UNESCO certified educator and current president of the Board of Integrative Medicine and the World Organization of Natural Medicine.
Dr. Irena O’Brien , PhD
Dr. O’Brien is a cognitive neuroscientist and has been studying psychology and neuroscience for over 20 years. After working as a charter accoutrant for fifteen years, she went back to university and obtained her PhD in Psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal. While there, she conducted Brain Imaging and électro physiological studies and went on to do a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Language, Mind and Brain at McGill Université. Dr. O’Brien is the founder and director of The Neuroscience School, a neuroscience training and information programme for coaches and health and wellness professionals, where she un-complicates neuroscience and teaches practical evidence-based tools and strategies her students can use in their practice. One of her pet peeves is the misinformation about neuroscience that floods the media and her goal is to right that wrong. Dr. O’Brien is particularly interested in how our lifestyle choices impact brain structure and function, affecting mood and cognitive functioning into old age. She is a firm believer that having a healthy brain requires a healthy body.
Dr. Gerald H. Smith, DDS, DNM, IMD, DHS
Pioneer in Integrative Dentistry and Medicine
Doctor Smith is a recognized international authority on craniomandibular somatic disorders with a focus on resolving chronic pain. He is the author of numerous articles on the ALF appliance and two landmark textbooks for professionals, Cranial-Dental-Sacral Complex and Dental Orthogonal Radiographic Analysis. He has also contributed equally important books: Headaches Aren’t Forever and two recently published books, Reversing Cancer and Alternative Treatments for Conquering Chronic Pain. Dr. Pierre Beaumier holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Loyola College of Montreal and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Windsor. Dr. Beaumier has over 34 years of experience in the field of analytical chemistry. As a past president of the Canadian Society for Chemistry (2008-2009) and one of the founders of Maxxam Analytics, Canada’s largest private analytical testing laboratory, Dr. Beaumier has been at the forefront of innovations in the areas of the development of testing methods, improving analytical accuracy, and quality systems and standards. These efforts have spanned many commercial sectors including environmental testing, genetics, pharmaceuticals, food safety, human drug testing, occupational health and safety applications, and testing services for the oil and gas industry.

Dr. Deborah Drake is delighted to share with you her wealth of 30 years’ experience in health related fields to offer you exceptional insight and expertise and hopefully some fun instead of drudgery, to help guide others on their roar to wellness. She believes in life long, self directed learning ranging from undergraduate BSc in Kinesiology, Biology and Psychology (Universities of Waterloo then Alberta) followed by Doctor of Medicine (McMaster University), Family Medicine and Special Certification in Emergency Medicine (University of Toronto) graduating in 1988. Since then I have ventured deep into 25 years in allopathic medicine, clinical teaching and research.
Through two decades of teaching, travelling to 50 city tour and exposure to other cultures and styles of medicine, I continued to learn new perspectives and continue to pursue solution oriented Integrative Medicine. I now fostered new research technology investigations to show health gaps in the detection of hidden toxins, allergens, infections, and genetic tendencies and more.
