The World Organization of Natural Medicine (WONM) is a non-profit international, non-governmental, politically and religiously neutral organization accredited under International parliament for Safety & Peace for Humanitarian endeavors. It’s objectives as set out in its constitution, is the restoration and effective delivery of traditional and natural medicine healthcare and attainment of the highest level of wholeness especially for the poor.

The International Parliament for Safety and Peace (IPSP) is a parallel parliament to the United Nations established in 1975, and is operated from its headquarters in Italy since then. It has parliamentary and diplomatic delegations in more than 130 nations. The reigning president is His Excellency Lord President Viktar Busa`.

The role of the IPSP is to defend peace of all people around the world. It is an intergovernmental organization and therefore the IPSP gives governance in moral, political, diplomatic, cultural, inter-religious, economic and social support to all governments of the nations and to their people and to their respective parliamentary institutions.

The IPSP Ambassador to Lebanon is his Excellency Honorable Dr. Zuheir El Obeidi, who will be much obliged to give you more information on IPSP.

The World Organization (WONM) serves as Public health Department under IPSP. The mandate of the organization is the delivery of traditional natural medicine and integrative healthcare to the world’s economically deprived people. The cost of conflicts on the poor is immense and the physical and psychological wounds they inflict on the populations are enormous. The latter leads very slowly. This has reinforced the necessity of developing a worldwide group that focuses on education, natural medicine healthcare delivery and PEACE.

Hopefully, this will awaken within societies the values, attitudes and bonds of common interests necessary to transcend the differences arising from conflicts and inequities.

Most governments are restricted in providing cost-effective primary healthcare to the poor due to their reliance on manufactures drugs. In addition, most doctors and practitioners in today’s modern healthcare delivery system are at a loss without expensive hospital technology, technicians and prescription drugs. Their lack of knowledge with respect to traditional, eclectic and natural medicine healthcare prevents them from using an inexpensive, effective and reliable source of medicine and techniques for the poor.

Why WONM Lebanon?
This beautiful country has a rich history in traditional natural medicine and humanitarian governments. Lebanon is in a strategic location of the Middle East and has a good relationship with its neighbors. Most governments will agree that the strength of any country is determined by the health of its people.

WONM members are multi disciplinary group of practitioners including but not limited to medical doctors, surgeons, orthomolecular medical doctors, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, homeopathic doctors, who have dedicated themselves to natural medical care geared toward the poor. Their aim is restore natural healthcare to its rightful position in the world healthcare system and most of all to ease the suffering of the poor.

How is this accomplished?
