CLINICS FOR HUMANITY™PROJECTS
CLINICS FOR HUMANITY™
The mission of WONM is to fulfill the duty entrusted to it by its first meeting of its founders, which is, the delivery of primary health care and natural medicine to the world’s economically deprived peoples. The human cost of conflicts is immense, and the physical and psychological wounds they inflict on the population are enormous. The latter heal very slowly. This reinforces the necessity of developing a worldwide group, geared towards education, natural medicine healthcare delivery and peace. Hopefully, this will awaken within societies the values, attitudes and bonds of common interest necessary to transcend the differences arising from conflicts and inequities.
Governments are restricted in providing cost-effective primary healthcare to the poor, due to their reliance on manufactured drugs. Most doctors are at a loss without expensive hospital technology, technicians, and prescription drugs. Their lack of knowledge with respect to traditional, eclectic, and natural medicine healthcare prevents them from using an inexpensive, effective and reliable source of healthcare delivery especially for the poor.
Under; the Clinics for Humanity ™ program, WONM’s Doctors and Practitioners of Humanitarian Medicine administer free traditional and natural medicine healthcare geared towards the poor whenever it is needed.
DOCTORS and PRACTITIONERS of Humanitarian Medicine administer to the needs of the poor in the areas of; poverty relief, education, healthcare and community development.
WONM’s Clinics for Humanity projects are endorsed by the Sovereign Order of Knights Hospitaller of St. John of Jerusalem (OSJ) Knights and Dames group Toronto Canada and South America.
WONM Clinics for Humanity projects are financed by it members and also accepts funding from non- members, and non-governmental organizations without conditions attached.
